Top Stock Movers Oct 9, 2026: WFF, ZYBT, VEEA →About the NYSE Gainers & Losers list
The NYSE is where most banks, industrials, energy companies, retailers and other established large caps are listed, so its movers list reads differently from the NASDAQ's. Moves are generally smaller and more often tied to earnings, guidance, analyst changes and sector rotation than to single binary events — which makes an outsized NYSE mover worth a closer look.
To keep one-print spikes off the board, a gainer or loser needs at least $1 million of dollar volume and 100,000 shares traded on the day. Moves are measured from the prior close to the 4:00 p.m. ET close on consolidated volume. Warrants, units, rights, preferreds and ETFs are excluded. NYSE American and NYSE Arca listings are separate exchanges and are not part of this list.
This is the closing board from the StockSetups daily scan, refreshed after each evening's scan. For moves while the market is open, the premarket, regular-session and after-hours pages run on a 15-minute delay, and the real-time boards are inside the app.
