About channel breakout stocks today
A channel (or rectangle) is a stretch where price oscillates between parallel boundaries — buyers reliably step in at support and sellers cap it at resistance. The longer and tighter the channel, the more meaningful the eventual break, because a lot of orders cluster at the edges.
A breakout above the top of the channel says demand has finally absorbed the overhead supply; the height of the channel gives a rough measured-move target. As always, volume expansion on the break and a willingness to hold above the old ceiling separate the real moves from the traps.
This list is the channel family from the broke-out and retest lanes of the latest daily scan.
Frequently asked questions
What is a channel breakout?
It's when a stock that has been ranging between parallel support and resistance closes decisively outside that range — most bullishly, above the top of the channel.
How is a channel different from a triangle?
A channel has roughly parallel boundaries (a steady range), while a triangle's boundaries converge (a tightening range). Both resolve with a breakout.
When does this refresh?
The list refreshes every evening after the US close, once that day's market-wide scan finishes.
