Spinning Top
A small-bodied candle with long upper and lower wicks — a balanced tug-of-war that signals indecision.
A spinning top has a small real body sitting between two long shadows of roughly equal length. Buyers and sellers both pushed price far from the open but neither finished in control, so the session ends near where it began.
After a strong trend, a cluster of spinning tops often marks a loss of momentum and a possible turning point. Like the doji it's a context candle — the meaning comes from where it appears.
